the freeze

we had all sorts of stuff come up randomly from the good rain the last few months...like a few cosmos plants...which are more of a summer plant...so before it froze on Friday night, we decided to do some harvesting...peppers, basil, okra, and cosmos flowers. none of these faired very well in 28 degree weather, but we have a fridge full of basil, peppers and okra. and these cosmos flowers on the sill.
